Sheepskin Accessories The NIH recommends sheep wool for pressure reduction to reduce the potential for decubitus. Natural wool wicks away moisture, is cool in summer and warm in winter. It is naturally mite resistant and machine washable. The medical grade tanning process and thick deep pile ensure optimal pressure control and comfort. Wool used is premium quality.Bed overlay, wheelchair seat cover, seat back cover and arm rest covers are ideal for fragile skin and in reducing pressure. Arm rests attach using hook-and-loop fasteners. The wheel chair overlay fits standard 18" x16" wheelchairs and simply tie underneath. The bed overlay is 72"L and 28"W.
