- Lockable, mobile drug disposal cart improves patient safety by reducing the risk of drug diversion, tamper or removal of used medication products from traditional waste bins. Allows users to safely and efficiently dispose of used drugs, IV bags and other patient care products with drop box-style security and convenience. Simplifies the return of used meds to the pharmacy or a designated return station.
- Secure Drop Cart features a pull-out drawer with a baffle for disposal of used meds and supplies. When the drawer is closed, products fall into a waste bin (included) below and can only be accessed by authorized personnel when they unlock the bottom door. It is not possible for unauthorized personnel to remove the drawer or to reach in and pull items out through the baffle inside the drawer.
- Swivel casters allow staff to easily move the cart where it is needed most for maximum productivity.
- Features a key lock with two keys. Carts are keyed differently. Contact our Resource Group (ext: 1252) for other lock options.
- Made of durable, high-quality melamine.
