Simple to use, the thermometer only needs one button pushed to start operation. Once pressed, the bright and easy-to-read LCD screen comes alive and the degrees Fahrenheit symbol will flicker. Versatile, as the thermometer can take readings in a few locations. Place the head of the unit into the mouth, anus or under the armpit and keep it stead while reading. While working, the degrees Fahrenheit symbol will continue to flash. The readings take about 60 seconds and once complete, the thermometer will beep and the degrees Fahrenheit symbol will stop flashing. Accurate to within 1 degrees Fahrenheit, the thermometer features a built-in memory so the last measured value can be recalled at any time prior to being used again. With the battery and instruction guide included, this unit is ready to go as soon as you open the box. Prior to each use, the head of the thermometer should be cleaned with alcohol. Capable of measurements from 96 to 107 degrees Fahrenheit. The included plastic storage case keeps the thermometer protected when not in use.
