The multi-layered hydrocellular foam is able to lift away exudate and keep it away from the wound bed for maximum healing. It also provides an extra layer of cushioning, allowing it to spread out pressure when in a sitting position. The sacrum design has a ""tail"" feature specifically for wounds in the sacral area just above the gluteus region. This will reduce bunching, lifting, or any other difficulties associated with square or circular bandages.
