FlashBooks are 2GB flash drives (or jump drives) containing tons of information and practical worksheets now available from AliMed. The flash drive is a storage device that includes flash memory that plugs into the USB port on your Mac or PC... smaller than a CD and more portable. Each of these contains activities, education and supplemental materials to utilize in speech therapy treatment. They are portable can be clipped to name tags or lanyards. Worksheets are age appropriate and can be reproduced from the computer. Much more affordable that workbooks, no need to worry about ripped pages or broken bindings!

The Visuospatial Training FlashBook offers therapists a variety of exercises for clients experiencing hemispatial neglect and concomitant cognitive deficits. These worksheets can be used for training clients in the evidenced-based practice of visual scanning, while addressing other cognitive areas such as executive functions, language and attention.
They are divided into three levels of difficulty addressing mild, moderate and severe cognitive deficits. The supplemental materials section offers a one-page education hand-out on left neglect to give clients and their families. Also provided is a Progress Tracking Form to collect your client s progress for the week with percentage correct and circling the level of cueing required. Includes an informal clock drawing assessment to re-evaluate progress. Using a large circle for the clock drawing is a stronger assessment of executive function as it increases the demand for planning and self-monitoring. For enhanced visuospatial cueing, these exercises can be utilized with the Visuospatial Training Tablet (#83082).
