Brom-butyl rubber stoppers seal Clear and Amber Glass Vials (#18967-18973) to protect contents.
All components can be autoclaved at your facility to achieve sterility and cost less than presterilized vials. No need for an expensive crimper to secure these vials.
Build your vials your way and stay within budget! No-Crimp Cap, Glass Vial and Stoper options allow you to choose exactly what you need to meet your liquid medication preparation demands. Eliminates the need to adapt your routine to fit the limitations of pre-packaged products.
Choose from Clear Type I borosilicate glass or Amber USP Type II glass in multiple sizes. Amber vials protect light-sensitive drugs and ensure the integrity of the packaged prescription.
Amber sizes include 10mL, 20mL, 50mL and 100mL. Clear sizes include 7mL, 10mL and 15mL.
Plastic, tamper-evident, no-crimp caps (sold separately) cannot be reattached once removed. Available in Red, White and Yellow fit Clear and Amber vials. Please specify color when ordering.
Color code meds by type, department or floor to create a drug packaging system that offers at-a-glance convenience.
Recommended autoclave time for vials is 250F (121C) for 30 minutes; caps and stoppers is 250F (121C) for 45 minutes.
