- Latex-free SmartSite Needle-Free Valve requires no extra components or steps to achieve needle-free compliance. Completely closed system uses a swabable, capless, two-way valve for injection/gravity/pump flow or aspiration of fluids. Smooth surface is easy to clean, which promotes greater infection control and protects staff from the risk of needle stick injury.
- Ergonomic design makes the connector easy to handle and a straight through fluid path helps improve the ability to flush.
- Zero dead space helps prevent issues caused by blood clotting, difficulty in flushing the fluid pathway or interactions with incompatible drugs.
- Provides flow rates up to 4500mL/hr. and can withstand back pressure up to 45 psi.
- Small profile helps reduce the risk of skin irritation/mechanical phlebitis.
- Device is made of durable materials to minimize cracking due to lipid exposure and stress and does not contain DEHP or metal.
